Global CAWI Services
CAWI stands for computer assisted web interviewing – a technique where the respondent follows a questionnaire script provided on a web page. CAWI allows for the display of images, videos, sounds and even other webpages as visual aids to ensure the respondent understands the product or service they are being asked about. CAWI surveys are designed to be self-routing, so the respondent is moved through the survey depending on their answers to previous questions; routing can be simple or incredibly complex.
Our core business is CATI, but in recent years we have developed a responsive and professional CAWI department.
The five phases of CAWI Research
1. Project and sample management
The PM acknowledges the emails provided by the client or schedules the Social Sampling, meanwhile he verifies the quality and translations of the questionnaire.
2. Programming and output
IRS programs and hosts the survey script using Sawtooth or The Survey System.
The client selects the data output: SPSS, Triple-S, Excel or ASCII.
3. Beginning of the wave
We submit the survey to the respondents, following up on those who dropped out or never started.
4. Quality control
During data collection, PMs and data managers identify any critical issues with the questionnaire and monitor quota achievement.
5. Data management
From the beginning of the survey to the completion of the data collection, data managers are responsible for verifying quality also at the data level, formatting the data in the format desired by the client, and finalizing everything for final delivery.
